Holy Ashura / Tajia procession of Shia sect started in capital

On the occasion of the holy Ashura, the Tajia procession of the Shia community started in the capital. The procession started from Hoseni Dalan in Old Dhaka on Wednesday (July 17) at 10 am. The procession will end by going to Azimpur, Nilkhet, Newmarket, Science Lab, and Dhanmondi, crying 'Hai Hussain, Hai Hussain' with bare feet, pressing the chest.
